A growing up five years old boy had not been able to get rid of his habit of

sucking his thumb. Worried Mom tried everything from cajoling, bribery, to

painting thumb with unpalatable food.

Finally she threatened and warned the boy, "If you don't stop sucking your

thumb, your stomach is going to blow up like a balloon. "

Later that day, walking in the park, mother and son saw a pregnant woman

sitting on a bench. The five years old considered her with a pity for a minute,

then approached and consoled her saying, "Oh I know what you've been
doing."
